I had the distinct pleasure of assisting the amazing Sandra Salisbury at the beautiful wedding of Tiffany & James. The wedding was gorgeous, it was at the Lindley Scott House which is so beautiful! Tiffany, James and the entire wedding party was a blast! I got to take a few pics of the ladies - that was hilarious! Sorry about the delay Tiffany, but here are your pictures - everything was perfect!! Aloha!!

So much fun detail in the house! And they have someone who opens the door when you come in, so awesome!

: Charlie again

Charlie & Grandma 2, originally uploaded by Parris Studios:.

I know this has become a lot of Charlie, but seriously, look at how adorable this kid is, I truly am blessed! I am also blessed because the images that I thought were lost have been recovered - and I'm uber excited to get those up here soon!

We're in the middle of trying to get ready for this weekend, and getting some sleep. We have a TERRIBLE tradition of not sleeping the night before we go on a vacation. Started with the honeymoon and has only not happened once and that was the Maui Babymoon. Otherwise though, we're up all night the night before packing and prepping. If there is any sleep, it's about 15 minutes, and there's no exaggeration either. So I'm really hoping to get some sleep tomorrow because we're leaving EARLY and avoid all that nasty LA traffic! So if you're on the road at 5am, holla!

Alright, time to get everything ready for the weekend and get ready for getting up early tomorrow! Have a wonderful night!

::update:: I just received an email from our friend Zoey & James (I shot her wedding in December) and we could really use some prayers! James' mom suffered a stroke on Monday night, and they could use all the prayers you can for the following:

*Healing for Jane
*Wisdom the doctors and wisdom for James and I as we make decisions for Jane's care
*Strength for James and I and our marriage... that we would be a team and remain strong and gentle to each other
*That James and I would take care of ourselves so we can be the best for Jane
*Mercy as I complete the last quarter of my graduate education and finish up seeing clients at my practicum site

Our hearts and prayers go out to James, Zoey & Jane...

PS: Zoey & James

Aloha all! On December 15th, I had the distinct honor of shooting the wedding for Zoey & James, who are two of the most wonderful, amazing, loving and beautiful people!! You'll remember Zoey & James from the engagement session and James from the magic shoot in November... Well, their magically delicious day was finally here! The day was gorgeous, the Church amazing (The Episcopal Church of the Blessed Sacrament) with beautiful stain glass windows, a wedding party that was beautiful and fun (with an especially hot bridesmaid named Jessica... her hubby is so ridiculously lucky!) and of course, the gorgeous and total awesomeness of Zoey & James.

Zoey & James, thank you so much for allowing me to shoot this truly magical day, it was an honor for Jess and I to be there! I hope you're enjoying Kuai... and know how jealous we are of yall enjoying the mai tai's and sun! Mele Kalikimaka to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!

Enjoy the slideshow and aloooooooha!

PS: Zoey & James engagement session

I know it's been a while since I've posted, and I have about 6 more posts in draft right now... it's been a wonderful, crazy busy time and probably will be for a little bit, but I'll keep you all up to speed... so, I'm excited to present to you, Zoey & James!!

I have the distinct privilege of shooting Zoey & James' wedding in December and I'm so excited for it! I love these two kids, I've known them for a while now (Jess used to work with Zoey, before she went to get her Master's degree at Fuller) and they are so amazing! James, you might remember from a previous post... Magic Jimmy H, which if you go over to his website, you'll see a lot of my pictures up there! :D If you need a magician, scratch that, you NEED a magician for your next event, call James, honestly! He's funny, has great illusions, card tricks, and magic-y goodness and you won't be sorry! And if you need a therapist, call Zoey. Although, I don't think she is technically done with all her work and certification yet, so hold off on that...

So they came down from Pasadena and we drove to a park with some great jacaranda tree's and started there. After which we moved to Downtown Disney for some pictures and then to our favorite eatery back at home for some fine dining (Fresca's, so good! Personal favorite, #3, hmmmm!) These two are so wonderful and so photogenic, it was an honor to be there! I can't wait for the wedding in December guys, it will be magically delicious (I couldn't help it, tell me you all didn't want to say that immediately when you read magically!) Aloha & God bless!

A close runner up to my favorite...

Almost my favorite... hehehehe

Favorite of the day, just the look, the feel... you guys are awesome!!
