My little sister...

Turns out she's not so little anymore... She's married, lives in Idaho and has a child of her own, I can't convey how scary that is to me. It seems like yesterday, we were off to Jackson elementary in Riverton, I was in 3rd grade (I think) and Aud was off to kindergarten with her little pigtails. She's the little sister who ended up on the wrong end of a crowbar when I was trying to get something out of the shed when we lived in the country, and didn't start crying till I said "no Dad, look, there's blood..." Commence freaking out. She's the little sister I was so protective of when she finally arrived at my high school as a freshman and I was a senior. She's my little sister and I love her, and it is hard for me to see her grown up, she's an adult now, she has a husband (who rocks @ Rock Band on the drums), and she's a mom now. Like I said, it's all a little scary because it means that I'm older than her and that we're both growing up... yuck! :)

So Audra and her husband Steven and their newest addition, Jarrett were out this way for a few weeks and we were fortunate enough to see them more than once which was PHENOMENAL! So of course, we had to do a family shoot, which was at the end of a rough day, but more on that in a later post, but it was a welcome distraction and great to hang with the fam. Jarrett has SUCH blond hair, and as it turns out, he lost the top portion on the way out. He looked like a little cul-de-sac head, hehe, it was pretty cute, I won't lie. But he grew it back in no time at all!! He is a cute little guy, and it was great to finally meet him and spend some good quality time with my fam. So to Audra, Steven & Jarrett Johnson, we love you and it was great to see you!! And Aud, you'll always be my little sis' and I'll always love you! Now, stop drinking the pop, you know you need to drink water (even if you have a super kidney)... ;) We love you guys, we'll see you soon!
