Another day, another post... I've been thinking I need to spruce up the blog, get the ideas out of my head and into the bits and bytes for a logo, which means, more Photoshop knowledge. I can honestly admit, I don't know how to use, or have I used Photoshop on the pics. I know there are a ton of great action sets out there like Totally Rad Actions by the Boutwells and Kubota Actions, but I feel like I'm such a rook at Photoshop, that it doesn't warrant me buying them yet... Although I do have a sweet idea for my logo on the pics, but I just need to get going on it and do the follow through.
But for now, I must ramble about the beach. When we were down there for the shoot, it was beautiful, minus the chill, but still. Great clouds, amazing color... sand blowing everywhere, but still, all worth it. So here are a few more shots from this last weekend at the beach. We really are so blessed to be in such a beautiful area...
Have a wonderful night all, I'm going to bed early tonight... maybe... Chuck had her last RSV shot today and turns out she just had a 6 hour nap. Might not bode well for me sleeping - D'OH! Anyways... ALOHA!!
I just liked the sign...
Pretty far back on the pier
And this is just beautiful color, right after the sun set, on the pier walking to eat at Ruby's. As close to a Maui sunset as I've seen ;) I need to post some more on the ol' Maui trip...

Parris Studios: Beach day
Here it is, day 2 of the hopeful 30 day posting process. No Rockstar tonight, but I could really use one right about now, so very tired. Slightly frustrated too because I'm looking for a few pics in particular that I know I had on my Wolverine, that have seemed to disappear. I've been through the hard drives, everything... so, I'm pretty bummed about that, I won't lie...
But on to some fun pictures! The following shots are of the King Family, Sarah & Jude and the little one to be. Seriously, the King's are just absolutely amazing people and we just love those guys! I'd say next to Jess and Charlie, the King's are the most photographed in my collection. We all decided since I had en e-session in HB, let's hang out and do dinner there too. The Pankow's were supposed to come too, but they caught a nasty case of the bug that's going around, so they had to skip out (we missed you guys!). So it was us, the Kings & the MacShane's, and as always, we had a blast!
So for now, here are some of my favorites from the King shoot, featuring the in utero - Joshua James...
I think I have a three way tie for first here... this is one...
this is number two...
"All that the sun touches is yours!" ..."What am I, Simba?"
I really like the lines and the look here...
And of course, number three, too hard to choose from! And this one was at the request of Sarah - how awesome is that!?
Thanks for letting me shoot some of yall, I think we'll have to do another when it's not so wicked breezy and chilly!
And speaking of baby's... here's another cute Charlie pic, this was her Valentines Day outfit, so cuuute!
Alright all, time for sleep, yeeees! I hope everyone has amazing Leap Year Day... Friday... day...

PS: Rebecca & Jon's engagement session
I'd like to introduce you to Rebecca & Jon, they are getting hitched on June 27th at the beautiful Hacienda which I'm really excited to go back and shoot. The last time I was there was with the wonderful and amazingly talented Amelia Lyon of Amelia Lyon of Amelia Lyon Photography, it's going to be awesome to go back with Rebecca & Jon!!
So when we set this up, they really wanted to do the shoot in Huntington Beach, which is awesome! Bad news... if you're in Cali, you know that this last weekend was pretty rough for weather. In fact, I had an engagement shoot that had to be rescheduled because of the weather on Saturday. But it turned out to be a PERFECT day, and get this... it was fly a kite day at the beach. Not your normal, 99 centers either (although they did have a few it looked like, one Darth Maul and my personal favorite, Darth Vader!). But there were some crazy, huge, elaborate kites. People flying kite stunts like the Blue Angels, minus the G's and best noise ever, but still, way cool! It was such a perfect day, wonderful clouds, wonderful bits of sun, an of course, absolutely wonderful people!!
Rebecca & Jon wanted to shoot in HB because that's where they hung out a lot during the dating days and they were such good sports! It's a little hard to tell in the pictures, but it was pretty chilly out there (who knew!?) I was doing pretty good because not only did I have my new favorite drink on the way over (Rockstar Pomegranate - which is what I drank tonight, hence the posting at 3am) but I got to hang out with these two!! It was a blast, I'm jazzed for the 27th of the 6th month in the ol' 20-08... Be sure to visit pictage[dot]com / 438397 to register to view their wedding pics once they're released!
Enjoy a few of my faves...
Check out the kites, so cool!! And notice the model looks of Rebecca & Jon, well done peeps, well done indeed
This is a close one on the favorites, voting was close...
I loved this series under the pier, so awesome...
Check out the soft focus, again, almost my favorite... I do enjoy this lens...
I know, "why Will"... Sticker Graffiti my friends...
Bingo!! This is my favorite of the day, the clouds, a little flash, just the two of them - right before we were asked to get down, turns out they do mean "Keep Off", who knew?!
This picture has no post done do it at all, nothing. Straight from the camera, it was such a beautiful time...
you guys are goooood...
Another close one, and well done on going for it, turns out this water - not warm at all...
She's saying "I love you!" and there's a hint of "wow, that breeze is CHILL-E"
Thanks you guys for a wonderful day at the beach, you were the perfect addition to a perfect day!!
